AI for Financial Advisers & IFAs

Handle Enquiries and Review Administration With Advice Left to Your Advisers

A financial advice firm needs prompt enquiry handling without an automated system drifting into investment recommendations. We build limited phone and website intake, review scheduling and document reminders for UK IFAs and wealth managers. The firm’s compliance team approves the information and escalation rules. Investment advice, targeted support, suitability decisions and complaints decisions remain outside this administrative scope.

The Problem

Where a advice firm loses time and customers

New enquiries and existing clients use the same reception team

A prospective client asking about the firm competes with a client trying to arrange a review. Separate routing and a concise contact record help staff prioritise without collecting a full financial history in an unauthenticated chat.

An administrative answer can drift into a recommendation

The FCA’s perimeter guidance explains personal recommendations on retail investments. Our scope stays with approved information about the firm and meeting administration; product comparisons, investment suggestions and suitability questions go to an authorised adviser.

Targeted support is a separate regulated scope

The FCA’s targeted support framework came into effect on 6 April 2026 and requires the relevant permission. It is not a reason to let an enquiry chatbot suggest investments. We exclude targeted support from this administrative setup and leave any separate proposal to the firm’s compliance process.

Consumer support needs an accountable process

The FCA’s Consumer Duty includes outcomes for products and services, price and value, consumer understanding and consumer support. Logs of intake, handover and follow-up can help a firm review its process, but deploying an assistant does not by itself establish compliance or good outcomes.

What We Build

AI solutions for financial advisers & ifas

AI Phone Answering for Enquiries and Client Calls

Captures minimal enquiry details and arranges an adviser callback or review appointment. It does not conduct a full fact-find, disclose account information to an unverified caller or answer questions about which investment someone should choose.

AI Voice Agents pricing and details

Website Enquiry Chat

Explains the firm’s approved service description and meeting process. A request for a product recommendation, transfer decision or personal financial guidance is routed to a person rather than answered from general model knowledge.

AI Chatbot Development pricing and details

Review and Valuation Chasing

Sends approved review invitations and reminders to use the firm’s secure document channel. It records whether a task needs staff attention without placing financial statements or identity documents in an open chat.

AI Automation pricing and details

Connected to Your Back-Office System

We assess authorised interfaces and role-based permissions in the firm’s back-office platform before committing to an integration. Access to client-specific information requires an agreed authenticated workflow; unavailable interfaces use a controlled staff queue.

FAQ

Questions financial advisers & ifas ask us

Can the assistant recommend investments or providers?

No. This setup handles administration and approved general information about your firm. It does not recommend a product, suggest a pension transfer, assess suitability or tell a client what to buy, sell or hold. Those requests go to your authorised advisers.

Does this include the FCA’s targeted support regime?

No. Targeted support is a separate regulated activity requiring the relevant FCA permission. The framework began on 6 April 2026. Your compliance team would need to assess any separate targeted-support project; it is not switched on within an enquiry or review-scheduling assistant.

Does deploying this prove Consumer Duty compliance?

No. It can provide records of enquiries, transfers and follow-up for your team to review. Your firm remains responsible for testing the service, supporting vulnerable clients and demonstrating appropriate outcomes. We agree escalation and monitoring requirements with your compliance lead.

What happens with complaints or account-specific questions?

A complaint is captured and routed to your complaints owner without a promised resolution. Account-specific requests require your approved identity checks and secure channel. The assistant does not expose portfolio details, issue a final complaint response or decide compensation.

What does an advice firm need to provide?

An approved description of services, a compliance owner, meeting rules, secure contact routes and details of the back-office system. We begin with a limited workflow such as new-enquiry callbacks, agree acceptance tests and provide a fixed quote after a free discovery call.

What the discovery call actually is

Thirty minutes, free, no obligation and no salesperson. You describe what is costing you time or customers, we ask about the systems involved, and you leave with an honest view of whether this is worth doing. We regularly end that call by saying the tool you already pay for covers it.

You own the result

The code, the repository and the accounts are set up in your company name rather than ours, and they are yours on completion and full payment. Nothing runs on infrastructure we control, so ending the relationship does not end the thing we built.

A fixed price, never a day rate

Every project is quoted as a fixed price with a written scope after the call, so an over-run is our problem rather than yours. If the scope changes, we say so and re-quote before doing the work, not after.

Where your data sits

In the UK or EU, under a data processing agreement, kept only as long as you specify. Any model provider we rely on is named as a sub-processor rather than left implicit, and we will tell you plainly where something you have asked for would put a commitment of yours at risk.

What happens when it goes wrong

Agreed before launch rather than negotiated during an incident: what is covered, how quickly we respond, and what counts as new work. Every build has a defined escalation to a person, because the failure that costs you is the one nobody noticed.

Two things you can check

Big Berri Limited is registered in England and Wales, company number 16562429, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZC119995. Both are public registers. Look us up rather than taking our word for it.
